Councillors are elected and serve for a term of four years. The next election will be May 2011.  While all councillors were up for election in May 2007, no election took place as all councillors agreed to stand again and no-one else applied for office therefore all councillors were 're-elected' by default.

It is standard practice to have seven councillors, a quorum being three. Larger parishes/towns may elect to have more members.

Meetings are open to the public and take place every first Monday in the month (except August). Why not make a diary note and come along. Add your voice to what goes on in your village. All are welcome.
